MacDaddy Smart Light® PRO Fishing Light

Shrimping LED MacDaddy fishing light was designed for an expanded purpose besides being a light source. To be consistent and build skills, you need more than a light source. You need a toolbox where you control every facet of the light set (location by anchor, light depth, light orientation in the water column, and light deployment strategies for multiple lights. The (3) Smart light strobe modes execute the science Capt Lee Noga published for manipulating targets using different light frequencies.

WARNING – If you have light sensitivity issues with pulsing light, LOOK AWAY when using the strobe modes. One light will create a circle of the light field around 18ft in circumference, contingent on water conditions.

Evolving The Macdaddy Fishing Lights Causes crossover of models.

• We are changing our grey end caps to green resin end caps.
• We changed the design of the end caps to a new style and eliminated the SS hardware endings.
• If one bottom-end cap accessory leg breaks, you have a second leg to attach your rope and anchor line.
• We changed the button area to manage the electronics. The inside is solid acrylic solid-filled.
• We innovated a silicon neoprene magnetic button to withstand damage from saltwater.
• If your rubber button breaks off, you can use a kitchen magnet to cycle the light.
• In 2024, We made some changes to the electronics to move them into the button box.
• The computer chip is stored within the waterproof acrylic resin housing.
• There is a crossover of models in distribution. The performance remains exactly the same in both models.

VIDEO BELOW – MacDaddy Smart Light clearing a light blackout from hovering bait pods that can end your night hunt and send you home. All light attracts bait, but when a large pod swarms around your light, your light goes black. The other fishing light manufacturers mention their light attracts various species of bait. They do not mention their light has no tools to combat this problem when these nuisance baits block out the light. Re-deploying their light will NOT rid you of this night-ending nuisance.

The MacDaddy Smart Light series addressed this issue, innovating a patented strobe frequency that momentarily repulses the catfish and nuisance bait. Yes, the bait will return after the strobe is turned off. But pushing back using the strobe will at least allow you to continue to fish and make your limit. The only other alternative is going home.
